TFW Outreach Support

Through a subcontract with MOSAIC, VDICSS is committed to supporting the North Okanagan’s migrant and temporary foreign workers and employers in alignment with the Government of Canada’s Migrant Worker Support Network (MWSN).

The North Okanagan is highly dependent on migrant workers in many different economic sectors. Through this pilot program, running until the end of June 2021, our TFW Outreach Support is focused on serving and managing migrant worker inquiries, providing assistance, and hosting group information sessions and workshops for employers and migrant workers in awareness of migrants’ rights and to support employers’ understanding.

VDICSS also looks to develop partnerships with local service providers to effectively link clients with appropriate community services.
