Since 1989, VDICSS has offered many services for newcomers, immigrants, refugees, and naturalized citizens, helping with settlement and integration into Canada and Vernon, British Columbia.
Settlement Services
Our Settlement Workers can help guide and support individuals and families as they make adjustments to life in Canada. From finding information about housing, schooling and the general Vernon community, we are here to help.
Language Services
Vernon & District Immigrant Services Society provides free English language training through the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program.
Employment Services
In partnership with WorkBC Centre Vernon, we support and deliver WorkBC One-to-One Employment Services to clients.
TFW Outreach Support
Supporting the North Okanagan’s migrant and temporary foreign workers and employers.
