Settlement Services

Our Settlement Workers can help guide and support individuals and families as they make adjustments to life in Canada. From finding information about housing, schooling and the general Vernon community, we are here to help.

Language Services

Vernon & District Immigrant Services Society provides free English language training through the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program.

Employment Services

We support and deliver one-to-one and group employment services to equip clients with skills and support when accessing the labour market.

Community Connections

The Community Connections Program encourages social, cultural and professional interactions between newcomers and the established community. It assists immigrants and newcomers to become engaged and feel at home in the Vernon area.
