Vernon & District Immigrant & Community Services Society partnered with the Literacy Society of the North Okanagan to create a book of art made by children in our community. At the creative sessions, children ages 4 to 12 were asked two questions: “who are you in your community?” and “who are the children in your community?”. The children then expressed their answers through artwork, which included drawing, painting, mixed media, and clay. Copies of the book can be found on the reference shelf of the Vernon Library.
